Brandenburg Lake

Brandenburg Lake is a 75-acre private lake (also known as “Lake of the Hollow”) that is exclusively accessible to residents only. It features no gasoline engines allowed (electric only), includes a 23-acre island, and is part of the Volo Bog State Natural Area. This makes it the most exclusive and environmentally protected lake in the Fox Chain O’Lakes system.

Dunns Lake

Dunns Lake is a small, quiet offshoot of Nippersink Lake covering approximately 49-68 acres (sources vary slightly). It serves as the perfect peaceful retreat within the Chain O’Lakes system, offering excellent panfish fishing and a tranquil environment ideal for swimming, kayaking, and family activities away from heavy boat traffic.

Spring Lake

Spring Lake is not technically a standalone lake but rather functions as a connecting channel/waterway between Bluff Lake and Petite Lake in the Fox Chain O’Lakes system. It’s home to the famous Spring Lake Marina – one of the largest boat rental operations on the Chain – and serves as a major marina hub despite being a relatively small connecting waterway.

Duck Lake

Duck Lake is one of the five smaller lakes in the Fox Chain O’Lakes system connected by small canals and channels (with limited access). It’s particularly popular for ice fishing in winter, especially for perch, and offers a quieter alternative to the busier main lakes.
